Our Members
We are a growing nonpartisan coalition of members from throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. What binds us together is our commitment to advancing high quality and equitable civic learning opportunities. Our members are nonprofit organizations, educators, libraries and museums, research institutions, universities, private foundations, and more.
Policy and Advocacy
We came together in 2018 to successfully advocate for the nation’s most comprehensive civic education law, An Act to promote and enhance civic engagement. This bipartisan legislation was created to strengthen civic education in public schools. Now we're working to ensure its successful implementation.

MCLC has assembled resources for teachers, students and families that are categorized by grade span to best address the needs of students K-12.
