Becoming an MCLC Member

As a volunteer coalition, we rely on the active participation of members. We invite both organizations and individuals to join our work. Our members are engaged and contribute in many ways, such as joining a committee, hosting a meeting/event, and providing other resources where possible.

Member expectations:

• Identify at least one employee as your organization’s designated point of contact

• Regularly attend meetings (all meetings are virtual except the annual meeting in September)

• Join at least one committee

Our committees are where the work of MCLC happens. In addition to the Steering Committee, which is responsible for overall strategy, three operational areas have been identified based on member input. MCLC members join at least one committee and actively participate in virtual meetings. Our current committees:

• Advocacy Committee

• Teaching and Learning Committee

• Communications and Marketing Committee
